Description

If you remember the game of Telephone, where you only got to hear the whisper of  the person next to you, then you’ll have a sense for how we went about writing this journal. The writers all were only shown the piece the person before them had written, and were asked to respond to it in some way. These responses vary, but there are strong themes that echo throughout the work and an interesting narrative that ends up making itself clear.

There is something very alive in how these writers rose to the this challenge, and in reading work that was written explicitly in this moment for this project. We hope you are able to get something out of it and respond in your own way.
